I just found this driver / service (pmemnt.sys) running on a Windows XP SP3 computer. It doesn't appear on my computer so I can only assume it was installed by an installed program. The weird thing is the modified date is in 1999 and the file version is4.0.1381.1. The description says, "Physical Memory Driver". My best guess is that it was designed for Windows NT 4.0 not Windows XP. The driver says Microsoft, but the file is not digitally signed. Weird huh? Anybody have more info? Contact me, thanks.
