If you get an error about "shell.dll" (or any other .dll files) missing when installing or uninstalling a printer here is what you do. Open windows explorer and browse to "C:\windows\system32\dllcache" find the missing file and copy it to "C:\windows\system32". Restart your computer and then try running the install / uninstall again. This should fix the problem.
