While installing VMware player or VMware workstation you receive the error "failed to copy vmnetbridge.dll to c:\windows\system32". If you reboot and try to use the VMware product, it functions, but networking is not available.
Solution:
Open a command prompt window.
Change directory to "c:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Player".
Run these commands:
vnetlib --uninstall bridge
(reboot the computer)
vnetlib --install bridge
Solution2:
If that doesn't work try a repair install of the product from add/remove programs
