Windows 10 Creators Update 1709 Fails on Dell Inspiron 15-7579

In my case the Windows 10 v1709 (Fall Creators Update) was failing to install over and over again on my Dell Inspiron 15-7579. This eventually turned out to be an incompatible version of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP). You have install a newer version of SEP before upgrading to 1709 of Windows 10.
