SSD disk shows wrong size after clonezilla

Problem:
After restoring my clonezilla image (from 256GB SSD) to a new 512 GB SSD. my 512 GB disk showed as 256 GB in windows.  Windows Disk management did not help either like it would in similar situations.

Solution:

Use EaseUS partition manager (https://www.easeus.com/partition-manager/personal.html) to create a tiny 8mb partition in the free space. apply the action. then disk will show correct size. Then resize windows partition to use all of the unallocated space.

A munch more complicated alternative solution is to boot to your windows disk and use diskpart to delete the EFI partition, recreate the EFI partition and then use the bcd... commands to make EFI useable again.
