If you are getting a blue screen stop error (0x000000EA) from driver ati2dvag, then downgrade to the previous driver. The current one has a bug.
I was using this one (causes blue screen errors):
https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/10-11_xp32_dd_ccc_enu.exe
Then I switched back to this one:
https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/10-10_xp32_dd_ccc_enu.exe
I just made the change, but I read somewhere else that this will help. Give it a try.
This should downgrade your ati driver from 8.791.0.0 to 8.780.0.0.
